Shimmering Sea Jewelry and Gifts is inspired by nature, my love for the sea and all the beautiful rocks and shells it provides.  I have been beachcombing local California beaches for years and love to recreate the natural setting of shells and beach pebbles in "shimmering" sand in my jewelry.  My jewelry is literally like wearing the beach.  I am having a blast creating beach scapes on rings, cuffs, pendants, earrings, hatbands and small art pieces.  I use upcycled leather and suede scraps for the base of most of my pieces.  Sometimes I am inspired by the color of the leather or sometimes by a specific rock or shell.  No two pieces are alike because I am working with materials created by Mother Nature so each piece is one of a kind.
